About Us

Ulverstone Baptist Church (UBC) has been serving Jesus amongst our community since 24 September 1905. Our church building is located next to the clock tower in town. We're a mixed group who seek to follow and grow in Christ, being an "authentic people" who share the love and message of Jesus in our community and serve others around us as we are able. Thus our mission is to CONNECT, GROW AND SERVICE.

We are a bible believing church, part of the Tasmanian Baptist union of churches and their statement of beliefs. Click here to read more.

On Sunday, we gather at 9.30am. Our heart is that when you come and meet with us, you will know our love and acceptance, our encouragement and prayers as we engage and hear from God together and respond to Jesus with our whole life. Our Kids Church for children between 3 years of age to grade 6 meets during this service, commencing at about 9.50am. Please join us for a cuppa after the service.

At UBC, we also see our mission to the world in justice, message and presence. Through support of mission, social justice and awareness programs, short and long term mission projects, we see ourselves as connected and making a difference globally for those in need with God's compassion, grace and gospel.

We'd enjoy the opportunity to get to know you and your family so please come and check us out.
